The garden at Stuart Cottage has been host to thousands of visitors since it opened to the public in 1992 under the National Garden Scheme. It is difficult to calculate the number of teas that have been served but in excess of 15,000 cups have been quaffed along with cakes and scones.
In 2018 we will be opening for private groups with a minimum of 15.
In addition we will open as part of the
EAST CLANDON VILLAGE OPEN GARDENS ON SUNDAY 26TH AUGUST. 2 – 6 PM.
These events rely on a loyal, stalwart and experienced team of volunteers to man the gate, direct in the car park, sell the plants, make the cakes, wash and dry cups in the kitchen and serve the teas.
